All I have to say is just wow to this. You really did do an excellent job. Is this your first time drawing the big G? cause I looked through your gallery and didn't notice anything else of him off the bat. If it is then you put me to shame cause I've draw him for years and could not come close to this.

Your line-work is really well done. Nice thick black lines in areas where it is needed. While you have whimsical and tiny hatch-marks elsewhere to pull out the details. The shading of the color though really makes this thing feel so gritty. Rich dark areas to define the muscles and highlight specks to show the irregular folds in the monsters fleshy armor.

All in all it is pretty amazing. You really did an outstanding job. I think the only thing that really hurts this is that it is a flat white background. Usually things like that make the illustration seem more static and forced. Which is the only reason why I did the 3 outta 5 on the originality. Because in the end it is really just a cropped facial bust of the monster. Nothing stunning there idea wise. Now...with your design on him, and your awesome line-work and coloring....that is the stunning part.


So in short I have to give you props. I hope this will not be the only art piece of the monster from you. I would love to see some of your interpretations of some of the other creatures from his films, if you ever get the time. But awesome work man I can't say enough.
