Happy Five Years of TAWoG!

Dang, has it really been five years? It feels more like three but then again, I stink at keeping track of time.
I planned for a much bigger doodle but I only drew this much for now so I figured, "if we represent the show with the Wattersons, it should always be the Wattersons".

May 3, 2011... to be honest, I can barely remember that day. All I remembered of it was that it was hot and it rained really hard later that day. However I was also watching show after show until the show would debut on Cartoon Network. Previews and commercials had already played countless times the weeks before and my mind was set for it. It was a different kind of cartoon and its extended visual effects and super funny humor caught my eye. Then the show aired and I saw "The DVD". I instantly loved it and wanted more, becoming obsessed with the show, its characters and moments. 
Now it's May 3, 2016. The show's in its fourth season, I think??? I had to catch up to some episodes and wow, it has gotten a heck of a lot better. New awesome characters, voice cast, story direction, my sixteen year old self would have went crazy. I won't lie, I haven't given this show any attention as much as I did years ago but I still like it. I still wanna improve as an artist but I had to let go of Gumball's simple cartoony style for some more advanced styles but I figured I can really leave the show behind at all. Will I draw more in the future? Maybe but I hope it will be good enough to last forever.
